About

I am a licensed clinical social worker licensed in Illinois and North Carolina with over 20 years experience working as a social worker and therapist. I have worked with people with numerous concerns such as depression, anxiety, ADD, substance use, family problems, and some couples therapy and those in the LGBTQA community. In the last few years, I have provided in person and telehealth services.

My style is understanding, non-judgmental, nurturing, and supportive. Using motivational interviewing, solution focused brief therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy, I partner with client to help them move through areas of their lives in which they are stuck. Isn't it better to have someone with you when you feel you don't know which way to go or what would be the best decision that will yield the best result?
