I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with a specialization in Art Therapy. I graduated with an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy/minor in Art Therapy -Loyola Marymount University. I have been a working professional in the field for 18 years and use a variety of EBP modalities to treat patients. Including but not limited to art therapy, CBT, DBT lite, Seeking Safety and CBT-E for eating disorders. My practice is informed by Jungian, Psychodynamic, and Humanistic/Existential philosophies. I believe that people should be treated as individuals with unique needs and histories. That is why I employ a wide range of philosophies and the use of creative expression during the therapeutic hour. Creative expression is a window into the soul and taps the unconscious of individuals to provide a deeper understanding of self, relationships, and the world around us. I feel privileged to walk beside individuals during their life journey as they strive to actualize the whole being they were meant to become.
