Hi, I am Elizabeth Pettersson, a licensed therapist in Texas. I have been practicing for 23 years. I help people cope and work through issues such as Addiction, Anxiety/Depression, Trauma, Panic Disorders, Financial Stressors, and Problems at Work, among other concerns. All of these factors can be chronically stressful in everyday life. This stress can hurt both your physical and emotional health.
My approach is Client-Centered, meaning that you determine the direction you would like our sessions to take. My job is to listen and use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help you achieve your goals. I adjust my technique according to your goals and timeline. These techniques include a combination of Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care. Some people respond well to additional activities such as out-of-session worksheets or texts. It is up to you!
