Hi! I'm Liz. Do you constantly question yourself? Wonder if you are the one who is doing something wrong? Ever tell yourself that you deserve to have bad things keep happening to you? Are you always angry and lose your temper over little things? Never trust anyone? These are all symptoms of trauma, which influence so many areas of your life. Are you tired of running from difficult memories and pushing people away? If so, I am ready to hear your story and begin the healing process with you. Have you struggled with talk therapy in the past? Have trouble putting thoughts and feelings into words? I use a combination of Expressive Arts Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. You do not need to be an artist to participate. Expressive Arts is varied: dance, theatre, poetry, music, drawing, painting, ceramics...and more. You are not alone in your journey. There is hope. Cognitive Processing Therapy is an evidenced-based treatment. Including Expressive Arts Therapy gives a non-verbal platform for expressing difficult memories and emotions without having to find the words.
