Hi! First off, my name is Liz- I have been in various clinical roles since undergrad. Post grad I became an in home therapist working with children and families. It was during that time I found I enjoyed working with parents, specifically those adjusting to something major such as a job loss, or a divorce. Once I received my LCSW, I opened my own practice while still remaining at an agency. I have started to focus my work on adults, ages 20-35 whom are transitioning into careers, families, adjusting with friends and navigating "adulting". I am well versed in CBT, and solution focused interventions. My goal is to create a team approach to unpack situations, or themes occurring in your life to help improve your overall wellbeing, and ability to manage and control emotions. I truly believe therapy is not only important during a "crisis" but ongoing as well, the more work we put in when things are calmer, the easier things are to manage when stress or triggers arise.
