I work with those experiencing mental health issues, trauma, and addictions. An ideal client would be someone who took suggestions and invested in their own healing. Their needs may include a mood disorder or behavior that they want to change. We would work on their thinking and how that impacts their behaviors. We would also look at their motivations and how to increase their motivations to make better decisions. The goal would be that the client would do what they learn in therapy while living their lives. They would no longer need me to help them through things and would be able to lean on their natural support. Mental health, trauma, and addictions have been my main focus since starting my career. I have helped people of all ages & cultures learn to help themselves get better. If I cannot help, I will ensure I can help you find someone right. My main focus is to ensure you are comfortable & free to explore your needs to improve to be the best version of yourself. I know you have not been doing well otherwise you would not be here. So please pat yourself on the back for making this difficult move. It takes courage to look in yourself & reflect on things that might be painful, but to get through it you have to go through it. This may not be an easy journey, but it will pay off, & the success will be worth all the work.
