My name is Elizabeth Valcarcel, MA, LMFT and I am excited to work with you as your therapist. My work as a grade school teacher required me to work with the families of my students in one capacity or another. This led me to my studies in Psychology and Social Sciences. I graduated with a Master in Counseling Psychology from National University, in the year 2002. The areas of most significance in my studies of Psychology and Social Sciences was working on my thesis on Same Sex Parenting, the clinical intervention with teenagers on probation and their families and ultimately significant was my new found inner peace, product of the self-discovery which was a requirement for this program. As a Hospice Social Worker, I facilitated brief-grief & loss counseling with patients and their families. I found my peace with death and dying. My business Caring Love Social Services was born out of my 15 years of service to the elderly patients and the community. Then Covid-19 forced those doors closed and I met and visited with loss. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and my experience and education in Counseling Psychology allows me to provide an environment in which you can meet, visit, and embrace yourself.
