Hi there! Welcome and great job taking the time to seek counseling. This is the first step in your search for support and you are in the right place! I know it can be a challenge to seek out counseling but through this process you can gain better insight into yourself and your future. Here is a little about me!

My name is Liz; I have my master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). I have practiced counseling in various settings and have a niche for individuals with disabilities and coping with their impairments. I also work with individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI). With this being said I have a unique outlook on counseling and looking at the ability over disability or impairment. I have worked with individuals with anxiety, depression, addiction, and anger management. as well as other mental health concerns.

I have several different types of therapeutic approaches I use based on what we discover while discussing your history and current concerns. I will explain all therapy techniques to you and make sure you understand the methods I am using. We will work as a team throughout this process. Therapy takes time and effort for it to work, as a counselor I am here to guide you through the steps.
