About

Welcome! My name is Elizabeth and I am a clinical social worker with 7 years of experience helping individuals and families overcome some of life's most difficult challenges. I have worked with teens and adults of all ages deal successfully with major life transitions, healing from grief and loss, finding relief from depression, anxiety, emotional or physical abuse and adjusting to life's difficult circumstances. I graduated from the University of Utah in 2012 and have had the opportunity to work in several western states from emergency rooms to Native American Reservations. This dynamic experience has widened my view and deepened my understanding of the human experience and emboldened my belief that we all possess the potential to achieve our heart's deepest desires. My role is to help you identify with the strengths you already possess and find the resources you need to resolve the obstacles keeping you from experiencing the happiness you desire.
One of my specialties is in grief and loss counseling, and I have several years of experience guiding individuals through these uncertain waters. Whether you have lost a relationship due to interpersonal conflict, divorce or death, or the loss is related to your health or career, the impact is monumental. I provide an action based program through the grief with transformative and profound change awaiting you on the other side.
My counseling style is warm and compassionate, and I have great respect for the courage it takes to make changes. In addition to being an active and empathic listener, I offer practical and proven tools to help keep you moving in a positive direction toward your goals. I draw upon a range of professional strategies including cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies, insight orientation, and mindfulness. I use creativity in tailoring my interventions to your unique needs and life experiences.
I believe that the best results are accomplished when we approach our work together as collaborators, co-creating the life you dreamed of. You will find my approach to be genuine and respectful, with a touch of humor to soften the heart along the way. I am excited to engage with you in your search for greater fulfillment and self-awareness.
