Hi, I'm Beth Carlson
MS, NCC, CADC, LCPC. As a  fully Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois.  I am committed to walk along side you during your exploration of thoughts, emotions, behaviors and experiences that may be creating barriers towards personal happiness and well-being.  I consider it a privilege to be part of your journey towards mental wellness.

During my 37 years working in the business sector, I facilitated teams, providing assistance in building communication and conflict management skills.  I then took my corporate and life's experiences into the field of counseling where I now specialize in addiction, crisis management, depression and anxiety.  I have experience working with adult individuals and couples and my therapeutic approach leans towards CBT, REBT, ACT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing.  Therapy is my passion and I am noted for my genuineness, and ability to encourage, and empathize.  Allow me to help you find peace and improve your quality of life.

My education consists of:
Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from Elmhurst College
Master of Science in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University
Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
