About

I am a License Professional Clinical Counselor, License Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Internationally Certified Gambling Addiction Counselor licensed in Kentucky with over 17 years of experience working in the field. I have worked in the community mental health and non-profit system with clients from a wide range of socioeconomics, with concerns including addictions, severe mental illness, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, trauma focused rape counseling, PTSD, and a wide array of other concerns.

My counseling style is person centered engaging the client and allowing the client to make decisions for self. I believe in treating everyone with respect, empathy, and compassion. I am very non-bias toward all populations and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, motivational interviewing, trauma focused CBT, and choice/person centered counseling. I will tailor the treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
