About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas. I grew up and went to school in New York. I have been working in in the Mental Health industry in Texas for 6 years. I also provided Mental Health services for 5 years in the US Army. I enjoy working with adults on a variety of issues, including depression/anxiety, trauma, and relationship problems. Since I have provided therapeutic services in multiple settings and to various populations, I am able to bring multiple perspectives to each session.

I prefer to view clients holistically and individually. I believe that people need to be viewed as whole person before any single aspect can be worked on. In addition, every person is an individual with a unique set of experiences that have created their worldview- therapy should also be unique and tailored to each individual's needs and experiences. My theoretical approach is best described as eclectic. My core modality is Cognitive- Behavioral, however I feel this approach leaves out essential aspects of the human experience, such as emotional, relational, and spiritual health. Every level of an individual's health needs to be considered before true growth and happiness can be reached.
