Elena Sánchez Domínguez is a Bilingual, Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) in Maryland. She gained experience as a family therapist in a school based program providing bilingual services to the Latino students and their families. Elena provided therapy services at BAK, a shelter for families and individuals who experienced domestic violence and/or human trafficking. Elena worked at the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Services at Montgomery County, MD, and at the Children and Families Behavioral Division at Arlington County, VA, where she served children, adolescents, and their families. Elena´s favorites approaches for treatment are Family Therapy, TF-CBT and Motivational Interviewing. Elena Sánchez Domínguez educational background includes a MA in Couple and Family Therapy from Maryland University, and a Masters in Business and Administration. She has a BA in Marketing, and a BA in Economy and she is certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Elena Sánchez Domínguez brings her passion, hard work, commitment, and dedication to her work. She loves travelling, explores other cultures, and has visited more than 45 countries. She has done volunteer work mostly in orphanages in Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, and Kenia. She loves spending time with her friends, doing exercise, and being outdoors.
