I am a licensed social worker in the state of Rhode Island with many years of professional social work experience. In the beginning of my career, I devoted a total of 11 years working as an academic and career counselor. However, for the last 13 years I have acquired my clinical experience in the mental health/ hospital settings. Helping clients to reduce or overcome stress and anxiety, manage relationships, adjustment disorders due to medical issues, cope with grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence.

I am a bilingual-Spanish and English-and bicultural social worker who understands and empathizes with her clients and most importantly listens to their concerns coming from similar background and cultural differences. The most common techniques I utilize in therapy are as follow: Motivational, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Client Centered. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming issues that might be challenging for you.
