Seeking therapy takes great courage, and the therapeutic milieu should be safe and comforting in the midst of your life challenges. Most important is feeling you are a ""match"" with your therapist, something which should be discussed in the first session. Also, continuing evaluation of the effective therapeutic process should occur throughout the course of the treatment episode.
