Elaine "Elena" is a bi-sexual Latin-American psychotherapist, life coach and author. For the past 20 years, she has dedicated her life to practicing a holistic approach to lifestyle adjustments for herself, her family and the systems we reside in. Elena considers all of humanity to be her family, and her work reflects this effortlessly. Accordingly, Elena has a natural gift of bonding with people, both personally and professionally and strives to maintain meaningful connections. Bearing the weight of many social ills on her shoulders, and eager to be the change she wanted to see in the world, Elena pursued and earned a Master of Social Work degree from the School of Public Health at the University of Central Florida. To address the body mind connection, she became a Yoga therapist graduating from the Long Island Yoga School. Elena has authored an extensive chapter in the Addictions textbook, Lyceum Publishing 2003 while attending the University of Central Florida and anticipates authoring more projects.
