About

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Transition Specialist with over 15 years of experience working as a counselor, focused on mental health counseling, rehabilitation counseling, and transition planning for transition age youth. I have provided counseling services to individuals and families coping with depression, anxiety, thought disorders, ADHD and OCD. I have provided rehabilitation counseling services to persons wanting help with careers or vocation. In addition, I support families who are transitioning their child from high school to adult living and connecting with the necessary adult service agencies and community resources.

My counseling style is person centered and fosters self-determination and empowerment. I believe the foundation of therapy is based on the therapeutic relationship that is developed and grounded in respect, compassion, and is genuine. My approach combines person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I will adapt our counseling sessions and treatment planning to meet the unique needs of each person and family.
