Hello and I'm so glad you I've chosen to reach out for help and support. My name is Elaine Boyle and I am a licensed mental health counselor in Washington state and work with adults and couples. I have been practicing for 20 years with the last three being in telehealth. I have worked extensively with military service members and their families and am well acquainted with the daily issues they face. I also worked in community mental health, where I counseled a broad range of issues in clients - complex trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, and attachment issues, among others. I am generally good at being able to read and identify issues a client is facing, and identifying the most helpful information and techniques to help in resolving those issues. I think of counseling as a conversation where one of us brings a new and different perspective to the subject being discussed. I particularly enjoy working with couples and find this work very rewarding. While the information provided here sounds kind of stiff and formal to me, my approach to counseling is far from that! I'm a warm and empathic person and my primary goal in counseling is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to talk about what is going on for you. I'm excited to provide counseling via this format and think that it provides much more flexibility for everyone with their busy schedules these days. Thank you and I look forward to meeting you!
