Being a therapist for over 25 years I have learned that there are lots of reasons why someone seeks therapy. You might be coming to therapy for the first time or the 4th time, but you are here because something is not working in your life and you want to understand it and find a way to change it. You might be looking at something that has dogged you for years or something that has recently become impossible to deal with. If you work with me, you will find a particular style I call “Collaborative”. I find out what is bringing you in and then I develop a plan with you to begin fixing it. We work as a team. I harness all of my experience, education and training to assist you in finding the right answers for your unique challenge….sometimes I teach skills, sometimes I provide feedback, sometimes we laugh and sometimes we cry, but the focus is always on you getting what is right for you. My view is that I want you to get back to living life as fully as possible. Life is out there and therapy is only to help you get back to it.
