It is such a blessing and honor when someone allows you to hear their story and walk with them in their pain. Building trust and a therapeutic relationship so that individuals have an opportunity to grow and develop brings me absolute joy. I genuinely believe I am called to hold space for those who have endured pain, desire mental health and want to cultivate healthy relationships. What is your approach to therapy? I focus on the therapeutic relationship, bringing authenticity to process so the people I work with know who they are working with. Then incorporating the necessary concepts and skills, pulling from a variety of modalities as a holistic and systemic clinician. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? My hope is that they leave in a variety of ways relative to their therapeutic process. Whether that is encouraged, challenged, supported, validated or a combination of all of the above.
