Some life events catch you on the blindside, leaving you in a mental fog full with despair, confusion, anxiety, and sadness. I am an Individual and Couples Therapist
licensed in New Jersey with over fifteen years experience working as a Psychotherapist.
My holistic approach to psychotherapy, has allowed me to engage clients in highly effective therapy for a wide range of psychological and life adjustment concerns. My Masters of Science Degree in Counseling and my doctoral studies has afforded me extensive training and experience in various evidence based modalities including CBT, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, Motivational Interviewing, and Client-Centered. I have worked with clients with a wide range of life challenges including depression, anxiety couples relationship issues, purpose clarification , life transitioning, and PTSD. I have also helped many clients with ADHD. To help you achieve your goals, I maintain a caring, confidential, non-judgment therapeutic setting via Telehealth Professional services.
After many years of working with clients of diverse backgrounds, I work with my clients to clarify goals and to tailor a treatment plan specific and unique to my client's needs.
My client-centered approach to treatment is eclectic, informed by training in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic theory, African-centered Psychology, Motivational Theories, Mindfulness, Conscious Calibration techniques. I collaborate with clients to facilitate problem solving and self-empowerment.
