ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Dyann Tauscher, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) in the State of Kansas. I have 5 years of experience working as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), 2 years as an LCPC, and 25 years as an LAC. I work with clients helping them reach their goals in creating a happier more fulfilling life. I received my Masters in Clinical Counseling from Fort Hays State University (FHSU), my LAC also through FHSU, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology through Walden University. I completed a 4,000 hour internship for my LCPC through Larned State Hospital and the Center for Counseling and Consultation.

I am fortunate to have worked with a wide range of ages in a variety of therapeutic settings. Those settings include: working at a State Mental Institution, Juvenile Corrections, A community mental health facility, and a State Mental Health Prison.

My work with clients includes those affected by Addictions, Eating Disorders, Anger Management, Depression, Stress and Anxiety, Relationship Issues, and Trauma and Abuse.

My counseling style is warm, welcoming and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I see my clients as unique individuals and tailor my therapy dialogue and approach to meet their specific needs. My therapeutic approach includes Client Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Therapy, and Trauma and Abuse Focused Therapy.
