My name is Durrell Sheppard and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Chicagoland area. I focus on supporting patients by taking a client-centered and trauma-informed approach. My approach is mostly laid back, non-judgemental, and relationship-based. I focus on helping patients identify goals for treatment and support them in understanding their emotions, relationships, behaviors, and thoughts. Much of my experience is in supporting patients with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, stress, and LGBTQ-related concerns.

I currently hold a Master's Degree from DePaul University and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Currently, I am also a Doctoral Candidate. I have extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and many other therapeutic frameworks.
