I am licensed in Texas with 4 years of professional work experience as a therapist and substance abuse counselor. I also have more than 10 years of experience as a high school counselor between Florida and Texas working with adolescents and adults with diverse backgrounds. I have a Bachelors in Sociology, a MEd in School Counseling and MA in Licensed Professional Counseling as well as a PhD in mental health counseling. My therapeutic style is solution and client focused with an emphasis on goal-oriented tasks. Setting reasonable and attainable goals is a very important part of the process. I will strive to build a positive and professional rapport and relationship during our sessions.

I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.

It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
