Life, like any journey, can have many twists and turns, as well as tragedies. A wise traveller knows that every once in a while a person should stop and get directions. And on occasion, get a guide. And sometimes, one needs a trustworthy companion who will be there when there are no directions and a guide isn't enough.

I am a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of providing psychotherapy to people on issues ranging from schizophrenia, bipolar, substance use, personality disorders, and PTSD to family conflict, relationships, and career considerations. I am licensed in New York and I utilize a client-centered approach to help you identify the actions you could take to improve your experience of life, that utilize your unique strengths and resources, informed by a psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based therapeutic approach.

Engaging in help is difficult and I believe it is my job to make the process easier by offering the people I work with a warm, empathic, and trustworthy companion as we address your challenges together.
