Dr. Tiffany M. Prather grounds her clinical work on the belief that individuals desire to lead a healthy lifestyle of growth/change, and she desires to support people in achieving these goals. In her delivery of clinical services, she assists in helping people tap into their inner strengths, increasing self-awareness toward effective decision making, improved resilience, and empowerment. Dr. Prather’s psychology training institution and internship were both accredited by the American Psychological Association. She maintains Clinical Psychology licenses in Wisconsin, Maryland, and Virginia. As a treatment provider since 1994, Dr. Prather demonstrates a wealth of experience in the areas of school-based treatments, undergraduate/graduate supervision, consultation, university teaching, community mental health, military/veteran care, and government entities. She leads with the belief that “learning is a never-ending process,” regularly engaging in scholarly activities (continuing education) to maintain the quality of services provided to clients. Additionally, her expertise extends into the substance abuse field, multicultural/ethnic studies, and psychopharmacology education. Dr. Prather is passionate about helping others improve their quality of life.
