Aloha,
My name is Dr. Teresa Russell and I am a Doctor of Clinical Psychology, Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Supervisor, Maryland Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor Supervisor, and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I received my PsyD. through CalSouthern University and a Master's of Science degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Community Counseling. I am also an honorably discharged United States Army Veteran.
I have over fifteen years of experience in providing counseling to adults, adolescents, teens, couples, family, veterans, severely mentally ill, addicted, dual-diagnosed, LGBT, and many other populations. My approach is authentic and caring. I use psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), client-centered, solution-focused, and a variety of other modalities to help you achieve your goals. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
I was stationed in Hawaii through the Army and stayed there for another 7 years after being honorably discharged for completing my term of service. I learned to appreciate the calmness and serenity that living in Hawaii provides. Through authentic caring with pure Aloha, I am available to help you on your journey.
