Hello, I am Dr. Tamaru Phillips, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. I facilitate healing through openness, honesty and compassion. I am the “truth-teller” within the therapeutic relationship, using an integrative approach that is strength-based, person-centered, and solution focused. I understand that change is difficult, and clients may be fearful, but I am supportive & encouraging of clients taking ownership of their life.

I specialize in working with individuals, couples and families and consider myself an expert with women who suffer emotionally from reproductive issues such as Fibroids, Endometriosis, Infertility, Hysterectomy, etc. My other focus areas of treatment include LGBTQ+, parenting issues, anxiety, self-esteem, post-adoption issues for children and families, relationship issues (divorce, separation, dating, infidelity), and issues related to self esteem/motivation.
