Hello! Life can be a roller-coaster of emotions and events and we are not always equipped with the needed coping skills or knowledge to navigate them. That's when we turn to someone with experience to give us the tools and resources to manage life's challenges. The one characteristic to look for in a therapist is their willingness and ability to hear your point of view and speak to your perspective. Years of experience with individuals and families have provided me with the knowledge and ability to "get YOU" and work with you to help you manage big and small challenges. Primarily, I use a Cognitive-Behavioral approach to therapy with a huge helping of Positive Psychology underpinnings.

I returned to school (University of Kentucky) in my thirties while raising my children after having a career as a schoolteacher. My life experience adds to my ability to give more in-depth appreciation to the challenges you are facing.
