Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Virginia and North Carolina with 17 years of experience helping clients who have a broad range of mental health and life issues including anxiety, panic, depression, grief, and trauma. Many times, life presents challenges that are difficult to navigate alone. Therapy can help to validate and encourage clients while promoting healthy change and adjustment.
My therapy style starts with unconditional positive regard, warmth, and connection. Being present, sensitive, and validating is an important part of the therapy relationship and is essential to clients doing well in treatment. I use research-based approaches and combine approaches in order to tailor treatment to your specific needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy are some of the treatments.
