Dr. Cooper is a licensed marriage and family therapist and post-doctoral psychology fellow. She has experience working in the community, in office and inpatient settings. She has worked with a diverse population and is a culturally competent clinician. Dr. Cooper has extensive experience with those who have experienced trauma. She understands the impact of trauma on day-to-day functioning, developing and maintenance of relationships, self-esteem and memory. She helps her clients in becoming aware of unresolved life conflicts and assists in working toward their resolution. Individual and couple sessions are offered for adults. Dr. Cooper is open to those of all lifestyles. She is sex positive. She is LGBTQ+ friendly. Dr. Cooper works with those who are in non-traditional relationships. The intervention that best fits the client’s needs will be utilized in treatment. Dr. Cooper uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Please note the price listed below is for individual therapy sessions. Dr. Cooper's office hours are 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Thursday.
