I am a licensed clinical psychologist with the Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness. Tending to our mental health is an incredibly important part of taking care of our overall health. In therapy, I engage with clients to work toward meaningful behavior change by developing an individually tailored evidence-based approach that incorporates aspects of both mindfulness and acceptance. I also work with clients to gain a better understanding of their values and whether their current behaviors are aligned with those values. Together in therapy, we can engage in the rewarding process of working toward a life that is truly worth living. I have extensive experience utilizing evidence-based treatments. My overall approach to treatment is cognitive-behavioral in nature, with a specific focus and expertise in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also have experience with treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). I have treated a diverse group of clients across a variety of settings, including community mental health clinics, college counseling centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals and private practice.
