I earned my undergraduate degree from Georgetown University. Prior to attending graduate school, I completed a two-year post-baccalaureate research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. I obtained my Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami. I completed internship training at the Bruce W. Carter Miami VA and post-doctoral fellowship at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System. Prior to starting Behavioral Health Counseling, I worked as a Staff Psychologist at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System, treating veterans with traumatic brain injury (TBI), cognitive difficulties, chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, depression, and difficulty with adjusting to civilian life.
