My name is Dr. Russell A Hunter, PsyD and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and recognized by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists as meeting the National Register’s stringent requirements for education and experience as a healthcare professional. The past 19 years have been exciting and challenging while specializing in the field of Clinical Psychology. During this time I have developed an expertise in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, and OCD. I have enjoyed working with so many people from children to older adults learn how to overcome their anxiety and fear so that they can achieve their goals. I am experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy, and published a book on Panic Attacks "Attacking Panic: The Power To Be Calm."

I earned my Doctor of Psychology degree from The California School of Professional psychology in Los Angeles, California in 2003 and my undergraduate degree from The University of California-Irvine in 1999. I completed my Pre-Doctoral Internship at Pasadena City College and BHC Alhambra Psychiatric Hospital. I worked at BHC Alhambra Hospital as an Intake Coordinator and Crisis Intervention Counselor. I also provided psychological services at Pacific Clinics in Los Angeles County, California from 2004-2008 in an outpatient community mental health program and with clients with severe mental health diagnoses, where I also worked as a Clinical Supervisor and provided clinical supervision of pre-doctoral candidates.
