I began my doctoral training in my early 40's and have been a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Florida since 2006. I was also hired as a consultant by the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, Center for Disaster Epidemiology and Emergency preparedness just after my post-doctoral fellowship and began my career as a psychologist both as a clinician and trainer for first responders and others who had been through disaster and other critical incident situations. And now in addition to my clinical practice with individuals, couples and other family members, I am also a sub-contractor to provide therapeutic support on cruise lines which are going through or have gone through highly stressful situations and have been named a "go to" psychologist for a pilots' association with one of the largest commercial airlines. I work with adults ranging in age from late teens to end of life regarding many different situations. I deeply care about helping people connect with peace, positivity and happiness in their lives.
