I received a PhD in clinical psychology in 1973, and have acquired post-docs in gerontology and addictions. Humor is essential at some point; it's curative. I've worked in hospitals, private practice and was director of a community mental health center in Wyoming. I've taught graduate students at the University of Sydney, AU and done psychotherapy with students and staff there. I LOVE doing psychotherapy, and will probably do this the rest of my life. I've been helpful in treating anxiety, panic, depression, bipolar, dual diagnosis, addictions, ptsd and trauma, attachment disorders, sleep problems and gender identity and LGBTQ issues.
