Hello
My name is Dr. Rick Cicchetti. For ease, most refer to me as Dr. C or Rick. I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental health counseling with a specialization in Rehabilitation
Counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Illinois with a national certification in Rehabilitation Counseling and Sexual Addictions. I obtained my Ph.D. from Old Dominion University.
My treatment approach is Rogerian based with a mixture of CBT, Harm Reduction and Family Systems. I truly believe people can self-actualize if they can only get off the hamster wheel. I work with individuals, couples, and groups who are experiencing discomforts from addictions, anxieties, phobias, relationships, careers, and other everyday maladies. When working with myself, if you believe in the process, trust the system, and we work as a team, we can usually find a way to achieve your goals. If your life has discomfort and you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, call me. What has you got to lose except the feeling of being sick and tired. It takes strength to admit you might need help.
