Are you stuck between a rock and a hard place? Hitting a brick wall? Allow me to meet you where you are emotionally and mentally, so that you can rebuild. My name is Dr. Raquel Campbell. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience in working with youth and adults who struggle with neglect, abuse, abandonment and trauma. My upbringing as an Afro-Caribbean woman lays the foundation in working with people of color, who have an added layer of reluctance in seeking mental health services.
I specialize in working with young adults struggling with depression and anxiety, who find themselves needing an outlet and safe space to explore stumbling blocks that prevent them from living a life enriched with mental wellness. My doctoral experience/research focused on exploring the lived experiences of persons identifying as LGBTQ in seeking therapy.
