Are you experiencing depression or anxiety? Are you struggling with home or work-related stressors? Are you struggling to find that home/work balance? Are you experiencing difficulty with understanding your child and his/her behaviors at school or home? Do you have questions about why your teen is experiencing difficulty in school? Do you ever feel overwhelmed or anxious and you are not sure why? My mission to provide comprehensive mental health services to assist children, youth, and adults in managing their symptoms more effectively and living a more productive life. Many people find therapy to be intimidating for various reasons and here are a few that I have heard over the years: 1) You feel like you are telling all of your personal business to a stranger that you are supposed to trust with all of your personal stuff; 2)You feel as if you will be judged; 3) Coming to see a therapist in some way, shape, or form must mean something is wrong with you; 4) You feel as if you are a failure in some way because you couldn't figure things out or handle things yourself; 5) Tried it before and it didn't work. I try to provide a space where people feel safe to disclose their personal business which I call their life business.
