My focus is on providing extraordinary care to my clients. It's my personal mission to make sure my clients receive the kind of attention they desire to make sure they are achieving the results they desire. I'm a psychologist with broad experience and interests in a variety of settings and symptom profiles. I've received training in a variety of intervention techniques including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT),Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and hypnotherapy for an in-depth approach to dealing with challenging emotional and behavioral issues. My specific areas of specialty are anxiety and stress disorders, panic disorders, and couples and marriage counseling. Utilized family systems theory and Gottman intervention methods for working with couples with relationship issues and related family problems. Have also worked extensively with persons with traumatic brain injury and other forms of acquired disability providing vocational and behavioral assessment and interventions. Extensive experience and contact working with elderly adults in an acute care setting. Also experienced in working with clients with severe mental illness in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Specialties: Anxiety, depression, anger management, skills training for emotional regulation, parent-teen relationship issues, multiple-problem adults and late-teen clients, and addictions.
