I am a licensed clinical and health psychologist with more than 15 years of experience working with a wide variety of clients and presenting issues. I believe that people generally want to be happy, effective and successful in their lives and that they already have within themselves the capacity and potential for change. People possess substantial personal expertise and wisdom regarding themselves and already “know” what they need to do. Yet, as we all can relate, doing it is easier said than done. Psychotherapy can support individuals to most effectively use their resources to increase self-understanding, to make health behavior changes, to improve decision-making, to solve problems, and to create paths to the lives they want.

The changes to life in Colorado and around the globe due to COVID-19 are real and will persist for some time. Anxiety, depression and other emotional health struggles are now much more present in many people's daily lives. I will work with you while we, as a society, continue to work together to find our new normal. There are things we can do as a community to continue to feel connected to one another during self-isolation and social distancing. I will work with you to explore your needs and discover creative solutions to fulfilling them. Let’s all continue to be responsibly social with each other, stay active, learn new things, and express ourselves during this time.

I am also sex-positive, LGBTQ-affirming, and kink-aware and specialize in polyamorous and other non-traditional relationships and lifestyles. As your therapist, I do not assume that your identity or relationship structure is the source of your concerns. While polyamory or other non-traditional lifestyle choices can provide satisfying relationships and rich opportunities for personal growth, it may also bring its own unique set of challenges. I am currently accepting new adult clients for individual and group therapy, as well as partners relationship counseling. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to new clients to help determine if it would be a good fit for working together. I provide phone and also HIPAA-compliant video conferencing sessions.
