I have been involved in the helping field as a clinical social worker, educator, researcher, and administrator for 32 years. I have published over 30 articles and presented at multiple local and national venues. I have experience in helping clients with relationships, family conflicts, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, depression, acculturation and intergenerational issues. I strongly believe that you are the expert of your life and it's you who can and will find solutions for your contentment. My treatment philosophy is one of partnership where we work together to find solutions. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan by incorporating you as well as your environment to meet your unique and specific needs, one that is feasible and achievable. I will be upfront to say that it takes courage and more importantly, your commitment to do the work to create changes. There are no short cuts! I am here to facilitate, support, & empower you in that journey.
