Welcome. My name is Patricia (Tricia) Martin and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I have worked in academic settings and as a university clinic director, but I most enjoy working directly with clients, thus the majority of my career has been devoted to independent practice. The most gratifying element of my work is to see people resolve difficulties and gain an increased level of satisfaction and happiness. Areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. I draw from several theoretical perspectives, including ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Psychodynamic Theory, Imago Relationship Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation, and Positive Psychology. I see therapy as collaborative; I work with individuals (and couples) in a partnership. Together we determine the goals of therapy and how to attain them.
