Greetings,
I’ve often heard that in life if you find that one thing that ignites a fire within you, you’ve found your purpose. For me, this thing is counseling! I have a deep passion for helping others find their strengths and innate abilities to overcome adversity. I believe that each of us have the power within to be strong when we are weak, courageous during moments of fear, and wise during periods of uncertainty. This idea reflects my open approach to counseling and therapy where self-motivation is encouraged. I have been a therapist for eight years and during this time I have found that taking an open and supportive role in treatment allows for more natural and sincere interactions.

As a licensed professional counselor, I know the value and significance of creating a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment where change and growth can occur. Growth is a lifelong process that can be fostered through personal development and exploration (hence the reason I obtained a doctorate degree in professional counseling). My goal is to help clients achieve a higher quality of life according to what they believe that is. This is achieved with the use of multiple treatment modalities and interventions. I commonly use techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy among other interventions. I have experience working with children, adults, and older adults faced with a range of issues including ADHD, depression, anxiety, and anger. Allow me the opportunity to assist you!
