I began my professional counseling career in 1999, having worked previously with juvenile delinquent incarcerated youth, incarcerated adults, psychiatric patients, as a school counselor, and as private clinical practitioner. I have experience working with young children, adolescents, adults, individuals, couples, families, and groups on a number of concerns, with specializations in the following areas: anger management, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, grief, loss, stress, self-esteem, pre-marital, parenting, divorce, domestic violence, social skills, and etc. I practice primarily from a cognitive behavioral model and treat every client in a safe and non-judgmental manner, while encouraging emotional growth via a wholeness / wellness orientation.
