My name is Dr. Melissa Arnott. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in several states, a Licensed Addictions Counselor, and a Nationally Certified Counselor with over 18 years of experience. I am ready to help you!

I view counseling as a collaborative process by which I help clients explore, clarify, and identify their needs. I help them to make changes in cognitions and behaviors that will result in the attainment of life satisfaction and self-acceptance.

I operate from an Existential/Person-Centered philosophy that emphasizes meaning in one’s life, responsibility, and the pursuit to be “that self which one truly is” (Soren Kierkegaard).

As a dedicated, culturally responsive educator and professional counselor with a broad knowledge of therapeutic approaches, I offer a myriad of effective services to individuals at all stages of life. These services include both Counseling and Coaching.

Counseling services include individual, family, & group counseling from childhood to late adulthood.
Coaching services include education and employment coaching, executive coaching, ADD & learning disability coaching, and life coaching.
