I am looking forward to working with you! I am a family therapist/ Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Wyoming and a certificate for School Social Worker in the State of Wyoming and Alaska. My expertise is in gifted and talented/emotional disturbed, K-12 special education and K-6 regular education in Alaska and Wyoming.

I also do art therapy which was my profession before becoming a social worker. I have worked with teens in group homes, school setting, behavior institutes, in-home therapy and in detention centers. I have been a LCSW social worker/educator, in the education field and all the passages of the life cycle including a social worker for 5 years in the geriatric setting.

I have worked primarily with adolescents and family population coping with addictions, depression, anxiety issues, parenting problems/career challenges, OCD and ADHD. teen counseling, stress, relationship issues, family conflicts, intimacy related issues, prison population on transitioning in society.
I have a variety of experience with addictions, trauma and abuse, grief, anger management, domestic violence, divorce issues, Alaska Bush with Eskimo and Indian education and social work. My experience is a combination of therapy and educational IEP issues.

I have also worked with multi-cultural youth in Indian and Eskimo Villages as an administrator/teacher in Alaska and enjoy working with those of other cultures.

My therapy style is warm, caring, empathetic, non-judgmental, acceptance and interactive. I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment and believe in treating someone with respect, sensitivity and compassion.

My therapeutic approach is a solid foundation in cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs in a positive manner to meet the specific needs of my client. I also thoroughly enjoy providing Christian counseling to those that request this therapeutic approach utilizing the unconditional love of Christ as the primary foundation in our sessions.

It takes determination and courage to take this first step to ask for help, seek a more fulfilling, happier life and to take the first steps toward change.
