I am a Licensed Clinical and School Psychologist. My psychotherapeutic style is warm, supportive, and collaborative. My nurturing yet goal-directed approach blends various techniques tailored to each client I work with. I practice psychodynamic/insight-oriented and cognitive-behavioral therapy modalities. I also incorporate mindfulness techniques to increase the connection between mind and body and help decrease stress levels. In addition, I utilize energy psychology techniques to help eliminate troublesome behavior patterns. I focus on and build upon my client's strengths, helping them fulfill their potential while maximizing their well-being. With my 25+ years of professional experience, I can help people shift their perspectives of themselves and the challenges they face. I work best with individuals experiencing self-doubt, depression, anxiety, and insecurity in relationships, who perhaps find it nearly impossible to extricate themselves from emotionally unavailable people, or desperately cling to unhealthy relationships, afraid that they will be unable to handle life on their own. I also hold a master's degree in acupuncture and oriental medicine, enabling me to treat the whole person-mind, body, and spirit.
