I am Dr. Maria M. Mendoza-Rodriguez a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adults, teenagers, and children in a number of different specialty areas, including depression, trauma, anxiety, substance use, goal planning, life adjustments, and other related areas. I obtained my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and has since worked with different populations. I am currently licensed in Arizona and Puerto Rico, with specially trained in trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, and depression/anxiety. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish. Primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I love to work with individuals providing an empathic and supportive environment, where I can push my clients to the next level to develop a better self. I have a great commitment with my clients and loves to provide a safe environment where people can express themselves in a comfortable and non-judgmental space.
