I am a psychologist licensed in the states of Texas and Florida with over 10 years of experience working as a psychotherapist and life coach. In working as a therapist, I have supported clients from various backgrounds at different stages of life, from young to middle adulthood and to late adulthood. Various concerns have been addressed throughout my years as a therapist such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, adjustment to changes in lifestyle and functioning as well as grief and loss.
Supporting others in discovering harmonious relationships with self, others, and the environment has been my calling and continues to guide my path as a therapist. I strive to promote a safe space where clients can explore and rewrite their life stories. At my core, I believe in giving respect, kindness, and compassion to all. Primarily, my style is humanistic with a focus on developing right-relations. I borrow from several therapeutic techniques: cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused strategies, narrative, mindfulness, hypnotic, mental imagery, sensory, and experiential techniques. The direction of treatment will be tailored to meet your set intention and purpose for being in therapy.
